China Harbor is a classic restaurant located in the Westlake side of Seattle's Lake Union area. You can't help but see it and it's definitely a landmark among Seattle's Chinese American community for it's large gathering space and ability to create excellent tasting and great looking dishes, especially for banquets, large and small. After their 2021 remodel, the kitchen has been lead by Executive Chef Danna Hwang, the first woman to lead their culinary team, and an innovator to refresh both their menu and style of the restaurant to cater to a new audience of new and traditional diners desiring quality Chinese events and cuisine. My experiences are mostly banquet meals, but they are reflective of the kinds of meals that will hit your plate once you order it. Fried rice and Hong Kong style Chow Mein are actually pretty pedestrian compared to what you could be ordering. How about starting with an appetizer platter of house made honey BBQ pork, edamame and jelly fish! Yum. Lets not forget a plant-based curry squash stew with seasonal vegetables. Lets also include a classic honey walnut prawns, and a platter of deep fried almond chicken. Roasted Peking duck is available. But the coup de grace is the braised Pork Ham hock in gravy. Impressive and tasty. Think about these dishes if you are invited to come to lunch, dinner or a banquet at China Harbor. You will taste artistry and another slice of Chinese Cuisine, as intended to be - delicious!

This is one of those places that you drive by so many times but have never made the time to actually walk inside and see what it is. China Harbor has been around since 1994! The location is in beautiful Eastlake on the water, too! I love me a beautiful view while I'm eating yummy food Usually this restaurant is BUSYYYY , but we went on a weekday and there was barely anyone there. I called ahead and the staff said they usually have all dim sum on the menu if you come before 1pm, otherwise they sell out of certain dishes. Every food item was delicious, and it was my first time have truffle on shu mai . Yelp has this place at 3 stars but let me tell you it was so much better! Please give this place a chance the next time you're craving Chinese food

Very underrated American style Chinese Restaurant. It has everything that you needed. I do have to say, they've kept the place clean in every way they could hence once you walked in, you can smell the Lysol spray. All chairs are lined up and table were set perfectly. Table tops were cleaned with Windex, my goodness, I don't even wipe my own table with windex. But maybe from previous review they've stepped up the game?! Food is pretty good! Proper Canton Dim Sum. For one thing, all server speaks Cantonese, so that's legit. Portion is definitely lean towards large. It fulfilled my 3 big boys appetite and they were super happy as it is quite close to their school and could order delivery. One side note, this restaurant go up my list is because they have the Christian music playing on the back which is just super cute. Everyone was just very grateful and thankful to serve us.

This was a great spot by the water to get dim sum. We ordered pork shu mei, steamed and baked bbq buns, shrimp dumplings, spare ribs, chive/shrimp/pork dumplings, Chinese broccoli, low mein noodles, and radish cake. It was delicious and we all were super quiet as soon as all the food arrived and it didn't fit on the table. This is for a party of 5 but we did get good views of the water which is one of the main reasons we went. Parking was plentiful but this was also on a Sunday and it was free.
